Well, that Sean Strickland, he’s a tough one, ain’t he? I heard he lost his belt. That’s a shame, he was doing so good. He beat that Israel Adesanya fella, remember? But then this Du Plessis, he got him. Split decision, they said. Sounds like it was a real close one. That Du Plessis, he must be good, I guess. They say he makes a lot of money, that Du Plessis. Something like R40 million. What’s that in dollars? Must be a whole heap of money. Good for him, I reckon.
Now, everyone’s wonderin’ when Sean Strickland’s next fight is gonna be. That’s the big question, right? I heard some folks talking, sayin’ he might fight that Du Plessis again. A rematch, they call it. Heard it might be at UFC 312. Big number, that. February 8th, someone said. Sounds like they want to see Sean Strickland fight for that belt again. He wants that middleweight title back, I bet.
But then there’s this other fella, Robert Whittaker. Heard he’s fightin’ some other guy, Khamzat Chimaev. Don’t know much about these two, but they say it’s a big deal. And that Dana White, he’s the big boss man, right? He runs that whole UFC thing. He’ll probably have a say in who Sean Strickland’s next fight is against. Heard a name, Jed Meshew, too. Don’t know him, but he must be important if his name’s gettin’ thrown around. Then there’s some place called Ontario. That might be where he’s fighting next. It is a real mystery when the next fight is.
I also heard Sean Strickland talkin’ about fightin’ in 2025. Early next year, he said. Q1, he called it. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. And he mentioned Australia. Maybe he wants to fight over there? Seems like he’s got his own ideas about when and where Sean Strickland’s next fight will be.
That Sean, he was born in 1991, I read. Makes him, let’s see… carry the two… He’s not a spring chicken anymore, but he’s still got some fight in him, I reckon. He’s an American boy. Fights in that middleweight division, they call it. Sounds rough. Lots of punchin’ and kickin’, I imagine.
This UFC thing, it’s all a bit confusing to me. But I like watchin’ Sean fight. He’s got grit, that one. Hope he gets that belt back. He deserves it, I think. He works hard, you can tell. It is not clear who is Sean Strickland’s next fight opponent. But all I know is, that Sean, he’s a scrapper. He ain’t afraid of nobody. He’ll fight anyone, anywhere. That’s what I like about him. He’ll fight for the middleweight title, you just wait and see. He is one of the best fighters. He’s got that fire in his belly. You can see it in his eyes. He wants that belt back, bad. And I wouldn’t bet against him. Nope, not one bit.
