Okay, so today I was messing around with some NFL stuff online, specifically looking at Kevin O’Connell and Aaron Rodgers. It wasn’t anything super planned, just kinda fell down a rabbit hole, you know?

I started by just Googling “Kevin O’Connell.” I was curious about his coaching career, since he’s relatively young. I found some articles about his time with the Vikings and his offensive strategies. I’m a big fan, I follow him for a long time.
Digging Deeper
Then, because O’Connell and Rodgers were linked during Rodgers’ time with the Packers, I started looking at articles comparing their offensive philosophies. I remembered some specific games where they faced each other, so I went to YouTube.
- I typed “Aaron Rodgers vs. Kevin O’Connell” into the search bar.
- A bunch of highlight videos popped up. I clicked on one from a game a couple of years ago.
- I watched Rodgers make some crazy throws, as usual. It’s always wild.
After that, I wanted to see some analysis of their playcalling. So, I went back to Google and searched for “Kevin O’Connell offensive scheme breakdown” and “Aaron Rodgers audibles analysis.” I found a few blog posts and some forum discussions. Some of it was pretty technical, talking about formations and route combinations, I tried to understand, but I think that is too professional for me. I skipped it.
I spent a good hour or two just reading and watching stuff. It’s interesting to see how different coaches approach the game, and how a player like Rodgers can execute (or sometimes change) those plans on the field. I really enjoyed the process.
That is all I did today. Looking forward to next time.
