Starting Out – The Basics
You begin with the four basics, right? Water, Fire, Wind, Earth. I just started smashing them together like everyone else.
- Water + Fire made Steam.
- Earth + Water gave me Plant.
- Earth + Wind kicked up some Dust.
- Fire + Earth resulted in Lava.
Pretty standard stuff. You gotta build from somewhere.
Getting to Materials
Needed something more solid. Plant was key here.
- Plant + Plant grew into a Tree.
- Tree + Tree formed a Forest.
- Tree + Fire? That gave me Ash, but also Tree + Wood (from Forest + Tree) seemed more useful. Let’s stick with Wood.
- Fire + Dust made Soot… not sure about that. But Lava + Water cooled into Stone.
- Stone + Fire? Bingo, Metal. That felt important.
- Then I tried Metal with other stuff. Metal + Sun (Planet + Fire = Sun, Earth + Dust = Planet) finally gave me Gold. Felt like I was getting closer to the money theme.
Making People and Stuff for Them
Okay, Gold is nice, but you need people for ‘Rich’, right? This part was a bit weird.
- Earth + Dust got Planet.
- Planet + Fog (Smoke + Water = Fog, Weed + Fire = Smoke, Dandelion + Plant = Weed, Plant + Wind = Dandelion) made Venus. Don’t ask me why.
- Venus + Mud (Steam + Earth = Mud) created Adam.
- Adam + Venus gave Eve.
- Adam + Eve = Human. Finally, a person!
Now, what do humans need? Tools, shelter, power…
- Metal + Wood made a Sword. Felt kinda medieval.
- Human + Sword trained up a Knight.
- Okay, Knight needs a place. House (Wall + Wall = House, Brick + Brick = Wall, Mud + Fire = Brick) seemed too small. Maybe Knight + House? Yeah, that built a Castle.
- Human + Castle crowned a King. Getting regal now.
The Path to Money
Had Gold, had a King. Needed actual cash.
- Remember Gold? And House? Gold + House made a Bank. Makes sense.
- Then, Human + Bank resulted in Money. There it is. The green stuff.
Finally, Hitting ‘Rich’
So I had Money. I had a King. What happens when you put them together?
King + Money = Rich.
Boom. Done. That was it. It wasn’t some grand strategy, just combining things that seemed like they might lead towards wealth or status. Mixing the symbol of power (King) with the symbol of wealth (Money) did the trick.
