Alright, let’s gab about this Dragon’s Dogma 2 ending, ya know? It’s a real head-scratcher, this game, but I’ll try my best to lay it out for ya, plain and simple, like how we talk back home.

Confused by Dragons Dogma 2 Ending? Heres the Full Story

So, first off, there ain’t just one ending, no sir. There’s a few, like three they say. First one, the “normal” ending, that’s easy peasy. You just play the game, do what they tell ya, and that’s it. You beat the dragon, things seem okay, the world keeps spinnin’. But, lemme tell ya, it ain’t that simple. This here game, it’s all about cycles, see? Like, things happen again and again.

Now, this cycle thing, it’s kinda like how we plant crops every year, harvest ‘em, and then do it all over again next year. The dragon shows up, causes trouble, some hero, they call him the “Arisen,” beats the dragon. But then, wouldn’t ya know it, the hero gotta become the next dragon. That’s the gist of it, real messy if you ask me. This ending, it just means the world keeps going ’round and ’round, same old story.

Then there’s this “bad” ending, they call it. I reckon it’s bad ‘cause you don’t really solve nothin’. You just kinda give up. I ain’t done it myself, but from what I hear, it’s like, you refuse to fight the dragon, maybe? Or maybe you make some bad choices along the way. Anyways, things go to pot, and the world probably ends up worse than before. It’s like letting the weeds take over the whole garden, ain’t nobody wants that.

  • Normal Ending: Just play the game, defeat the dragon, the cycle continues.
  • Bad Ending: Mess up, give up, the world’s in trouble.
  • True Ending: This one’s tricky, gotta do some special stuff.

Now, the true ending, that’s where it gets real complicated. Folks are sayin’ you gotta use this special sword, the “Empowered Godsbane Blade”. Sounds fancy, huh? You get this sword, and then… get this… you gotta stab yourself with it! Yeah, you heard me right. Stab yourself right in the heart. Sounds crazy, I know, but that’s what they say. It seems like a fool thing to do, but this game, it ain’t always about doing what seems sensible. It’s like when you gotta prune a rose bush, sometimes you gotta cut off the good parts to make it grow stronger.

When you do that, you and the dragon, you both fall down, right into the sea. And then, somethin’ different happens. They say it breaks the cycle. No more dragon showing up, no more Arisen becoming the dragon. It’s like finally plowing the whole field and planting somethin’ new, somethin’ better, ya see? But exactly what happens after that, they don’t say. It’s kinda left open, for you to think about.

Confused by Dragons Dogma 2 Ending? Heres the Full Story

This whole game, it’s got twists and turns, like a bumpy dirt road. It ain’t straightforward, that’s for sure. And these endings, they make ya think. Are you just gonna keep doin’ the same old thing, or are you gonna try and change things, even if it means doin’ somethin’ drastic? It’s like deciding whether to keep patching up the old fence or tear it down and build a new one, a stronger one.

So, that’s the Dragon’s Dogma 2 ending explained, best as I can. It ain’t easy to wrap your head around, but that’s how these stories are sometimes. They make ya scratch your head and wonder, “What if things were different?” And that’s what makes ‘em good, I reckon. Keeps ya thinkin’ long after you put the game down.

And remember, finding that true ending, it ain’t just about following steps. It’s about understanding why you’re doing it. It’s like knowing why you’re planting corn instead of wheat – it’s gotta make sense in the bigger picture. So go on, play the game, see for yourself. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if you get confused, this stuff ain’t for the faint of heart!

To sum it all up, there are three endings: normal, bad, and true. Normal keeps the cycle going, bad makes things worse, and true…well, true changes things, but it ain’t easy to get. You gotta be willin’ to make some tough choices, like stabbing yourself with a magic sword. Sounds plumb crazy, I know, but that’s how it is.
