Well now, let me tell ya ’bout these chasms in that Tears of the Kingdom game. Folks are callin’ ’em “chasms,” but to me, they’re just big ol’ holes in the ground. Lots of ’em, they say. Thirty-six, to be exact. That’s a whole heap of holes!
Where to Find Them Holes
Now, I ain’t no fancy mapmaker, but I heard tell of where some of these holes are. Some are easy to find, right smack-dab in the middle of things, like that one in the Korok Forest. They call it the Deku Tree Chasm. Sounds fancy, but it’s just a hole that goes down, down, down to some kinda arena thing. Lots of fightin’, I reckon.
Then there’s them holes up in Hebra, near that Rito Village where all them bird people live. You gotta go to one of them islands in the sky to find that one. Sounds like a lot of trouble if you ask me. Why they gotta put a hole way up there?
- Deku Tree Chasm: In Korok Forest, drops ya into an arena.
- Hebra Depths Entrance: On an island near Rito Village, gotta fly up there.
And that ain’t all, no sirree! They say there’s holes all over the place. Central Hyrule, way up north, down south… seems like ya can’t walk two steps without fallin’ into one. Mind ya step, I say!
What’s Down Them Holes?
Now, I ain’t been down none of them holes myself. Too old for that kinda jumpin’ around. But from what I hear, there’s all sorts of things down there. Dark and scary places, full of beasties and whatnot. Some holes lead to the same places, but some… they got secret spots ya can only get to by goin’ down that particular hole. Sounds like a maze to me, all them twisty tunnels and whatnot.
More Than Just Holes
Seems like these holes are a big part of this Tears of the Kingdom thing. Folks are makin’ maps and writin’ guides, tryin’ to figure out where all them holes are and what’s down ’em. They say there’s 152 shrines too, but that’s a whole ‘nother story. Sounds like a lot of work to me, runnin’ around lookin’ for holes and shrines. I’d rather sit on my porch and watch the chickens.
Tears of the Kingdom…What Now?
This whole Tears of the Kingdom thing… it’s got folks all riled up. Talkin’ ’bout “walkthroughs” and “interactive maps.” Land sakes, I remember when a map was just a piece of paper! But these young folks, they like their fancy gadgets and whatnot. Me? I’ll stick to what I know. Holes in the ground are holes in the ground, no matter how ya slice it.
Challenges and New Places
And I heard tell that them holes ain’t just for lookin’ at. They got challenges down there. New places to see, new beasties to fight. Sounds like a lot of trouble if you ask me. But the young folks, they seem to like it. Guess they need somethin’ to keep ’em busy.
So Many Holes, So Little Time
So, there ya have it. Thirty-six chasms, or holes as I call ’em, scattered all over the place. Some easy to find, some not so much. Some lead to the same places, some got secrets. It’s a whole lotta hoppin’ and jumpin’ and fightin’, from what I gather. Me? I’ll stick to solid ground. Let them young folks go jumpin’ in holes. I got better things to do, like feedin’ the chickens and watchin’ the grass grow. And that, my friends, is all I know ’bout them chasms in the Tears of the Kingdom. Now go on, get outta here, ya hear?
Keep your wits about ya, some of them holes might just lead you to a place you can’t get back from. Just like that old well back home, went down there once, took me near a week to find my way back up, scared the living daylights out of me!
And remember to pack some snacks, cause it sounds like you’ll be doin’ a lot of wanderin’ around them dark and scary places. A good sandwich and a jug of water never hurt nobody!
