Okay, so I saw this question popping up all over the internet: “Are Joe and Seth Rogan related?” It’s a fair question, they’ve both got that “Rogan” thing going on, even if the spelling is a little different. So, I decided to get to the bottom of it, for myself and anyone else who’s curious.
My Little Investigation
First, I did what anyone would do – I Googled it. I just typed in “are Joe and Seth Rogan related” and, boom, tons of stuff came up. Mostly, it was articles and forum discussions about this very question.
I skimmed through a bunch of these, and the general consensus was a big, fat NO. They aren’t related. Not even a little bit.
Then I got a bit more, into looking at each of them seperately
- Joe Rogan: He’s the podcast guy, UFC commentator, and former Fear Factor host. I knew he had a pretty diverse background, mostly in comedy and martial arts.
- Seth Rogen: This is the actor/writer/comedian from movies like Superbad, Knocked Up, and Pineapple Express. His roots are obviously in comedy, and he’s known for that stoner-bro persona.
I looked into their backstories a little. I read some quick bio stuff, nothing super deep. It confirmed what those initial articles said, that they come from very different places and backgrounds.
So, basically, I went down a mini-rabbit hole of online info, and it all pointed to the same conclusion.
It seems like it’s just a coincidence that they have similar-sounding last names. Kinda like how there are tons of people named Smith, but they’re not all * happens.
