Okay, so, I jumped into this “At the Mounds of Madness 2” mission in Gray Zone Warfare. Let me tell you, it was a wild ride. First thing I did was boot up the game, obviously. Then I had to find this mission on the list. I think I scrolled for a bit ’cause there’s a bunch of them, but I finally spotted it.

Getting Ready

Before I could actually start, I had to make sure I was geared up. I checked my inventory – grabbed my best rifle, some extra ammo, and a couple of medkits just in case. You never know what you’re gonna run into, right? I also made sure my character was all set, stamina, health, the whole nine yards.

Starting the Mission

Once I hit “start,” the game loaded me into this creepy, desolate area. It was all gray and foggy, super atmospheric. I started moving forward, following the objective marker on my map. It led me through some ruined buildings, and I kept my eyes peeled for any enemies.

First Contact

It wasn’t long before I ran into some trouble. I heard some noise and peeked around a corner. BAM! There were these hostile guys patrolling. I ducked back, took a deep breath, and then popped out, taking aim. I managed to take down a couple of them, but they were tough. I had to use cover and reload a few times, and even used one of my medkits after taking a hit.

Pushing Forward

After that firefight, I was a bit shaken but kept moving. The objective marker led me deeper into the area. I had to climb over some rubble and squeeze through some narrow passages. I found some loot along the way, some extra ammo and a better scope for my rifle. That was pretty sweet.

More Enemies

Of course, it wasn’t smooth sailing. I encountered more of those enemy guys. This time, there were even more of them. I tried to be stealthy, but they spotted me. Another big fight broke out. I used up a lot of ammo and had to switch to my secondary weapon at one point. It was intense, but I finally cleared them out.

The Objective

Finally, I reached the spot the objective marker was pointing to. It looked like some kind of research facility. I went inside, and it was even creepier than the outside. There were these weird symbols on the walls and strange equipment everywhere. I had to search around and interact with a few things, like a computer terminal and some documents. I felt like I was in a horror movie.

Exfiltration

After I gathered all the intel I needed, it was time to get out of there. I followed the exfil marker on my map, which led me to a different part of the area. Of course, on the way, I ran into more enemies. By this point, I was low on ammo and health, so it was a real struggle. But I managed to fight my way through and reach the exfil point.

I called for extraction, and after a tense wait, a helicopter arrived. I hopped in, and we took off. Mission accomplished! It was a tough one, but I made it.

  • Pushed forward, looted some useful items.
  • Dealt with another wave of enemies in a big fight.
  • Reached the objective, a spooky research facility.
  • Gathered intel and headed to the exfil point.
  • Fought my way to the extraction and escaped on a helicopter.

Man, that was one heck of a mission. I’m gonna take a break now, maybe grab a snack. If you guys try it out, let me know how it goes!
