Alright, let me tell you about this Ben Davis belt I messed with. I was looking for a new belt for my work pants, and I remembered Ben Davis, that old-school workwear brand. Their stuff used to be all the rage, you know? I figured I would check out what kind of belts they had.

Ben Davis Belt: Where to Buy and What to Look For

First Steps:

First, I tried to check if I can find a cheaper price. I saw a line “Buy It Now Available Under $10” – that sounds pretty good, I will come back to this later.

Checking Out the Options:

Then I jumped online to see what was available. Their official website is in Japanese, which I didn’t expect, but hey, whatever. They had this one leather belt with the Ben Davis logo stamped on it. Looked kinda cool. It said it came in waist sizes 32 to 46.

  • Checked the Size: I wear a size 36, so that was good.
  • Looked at the Material: The description mentioned “full-grain leather” which they say is the best quality. Sounds good to me.

I also saw they had a canvas belt. This one had the Ben Davis logo engraved on the buckle and could fit up to a size 42 waist. It was made of 100% cotton canvas. I thought that might be a good option too, maybe a little more casual.

Making a Decision:

I went back and forth between the leather and the canvas one. The leather one seemed more durable, but the canvas one was probably more comfortable, especially during summer.

I ended up grabbing the leather belt. The “best quality leather” part sold me on it. Plus, I figured it would last longer and develop a nice worn-in look over time.

Final Thoughts:

So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Ben Davis belt. I got the belt a few weeks ago, and it is been pretty good so far. It’s sturdy, holds my pants up, and looks decent. We will see how it holds up in the long run, but for now, I am happy with it. And that is about it for my Ben Davis belt experience. Hope you found this little story somewhat useful!
