Figuring Out the Dynasty Mode
First thing I did was poked around the menus. I started a new Dynasty, just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything obvious in an existing one. When creating one, go to “Dynasty Setup,” then click “Custom Conferences” to customize your conferences and set up protected rivalries (which is always smart, you don’t want those to disappear).
Coach Settings are Key
After I got the conference all set up, next I Created my coach, picked my team. When I went to “Coach Info” after I had set up my coach, I made sure to check all the settings there. There’s a “Coach Settings” option – that’s where the magic happens.
The “Play Selection” Setting
Inside “Coach Settings”, I finally spotted it: “Play Selection”. I clicked that, Make sure it’s set to “Advanced”.
- Basic: This is the default, super simple play calling. You’re gonna be limited here.
- Advanced: THIS is what I wanted! Full playbook access, audibles, the whole nine yards.
- Coach Suggestion: lets the game’s AI suggest plays.
I made damn sure “Advanced” was selected. Saved everything, backed out to the main Dynasty menu.
Testing It Out
I jumped straight into a game. Finally, I could see all the formations, all the plays. Hot routes, audibles, everything was there. It was beautiful! I could finally run the offense I wanted, not what the game thought I should run.
