Okay, so I wanted to dig into Austin Theory’s career, you know, really see what the fuss is about. I decided to use Cagematch as my main source because it’s pretty comprehensive with match data and ratings.

Getting Started

First, I went to the website. The interface is kinda old-school, but it’s easy enough to navigate.

I used their search bar to type “Austin Theory”. The website gave several choices, and I clicked the one I believed right.

Browsing the Profile

Once I got to his profile, I was hit with a ton of info. Here’s what I did:

  • Checked his basic stats: I looked at his billed height, weight, and where he’s from. Just getting a feel for the guy.
  • Scrolled through his match history: This is where Cagematch really shines. I looked at his matches, going back a few years. I wanted to see how his career progressed.
  • Looked at match ratings: I paid attention to the star ratings (or number ratings, whatever they use). This gave me an idea of which matches were considered his best.
  • Checked out different promotions: I wanted to see where he’s wrestled – not just WWE, but also Evolve, and any other smaller promotions. This helps paint a bigger picture.
  • Noticed some tags’ name: I saw the name of “The Unproven”. I wanted to see who is the partner. I used the search bar and type it.
  • Found his tag partner:I got the result. It is a guy named “Anthony Greene”. So now I know it.

My Observations

After spending some time on Cagematch, here’s what I gathered from my little investigation:

  • He’s had a pretty rapid rise: He went from the indies to WWE pretty quickly.
  • His early matches show growth: You can see how he improved over time by looking at the match ratings and opponent quality.
  • Cagematch is a great resource: It’s a bit clunky, but the sheer amount of data is awesome for a wrestling nerd like me.

That’s pretty much my journey through Austin Theory’s Cagematch profile. It was a good way to spend an afternoon, getting a better understanding of his career path.
