Today, I decided to dive into the Trillion Trinket Trawl event in Genshin Impact. It’s version 4.6, and I heard there’s a part where you need to take photos of different animals. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, I thought I’d share my little adventure of finding and photographing two types of dogs for this event.
First things first, I teleported to the waypoint near the Adventurer’s Guild in the Court of Fontaine. I figured that’s a good place to start since it’s usually bustling with activity. Once I got there, I started looking around.
I headed in the right direction from the waypoint. After walking for a bit, I spotted two dogs near the road. One was a Gentleman Poodle and the other was a Lady Poodle. These two were just what I needed! I quickly opened my in-game camera to snap some pics.

But, I remembered there are dogs in other places like Liyue and Mondstadt too. So, for the fun of it, I decided to visit those areas as well. The dogs in Liyue and Mondstadt are super friendly. They follow you around when you get close. They even chase you, jump around, lay down, and sniff your feet. It’s pretty cute and made for some great photo ops!
Taking photos in Genshin Impact is simple. You just click on the small camera icon on the top of the sidebar in the Paimon menu. That’s it! I took a bunch of pictures of the dogs playing around. I love how lively they are. And just to be sure, I took some extra shots of the poodles back in Fontaine.
How I Did It
So, to wrap it up, I successfully photographed two types of dogs for the Trillion Trinket Trawl event. I started in the Court of Fontaine, found the poodles, and took their pictures. Then I traveled to Liyue and Mondstadt to capture some more playful dog moments. It was a fun and straightforward task. If you’re doing this event, I hope my little walkthrough helps you out!
