Alright, so, let’s talk about this girl, Linn Grant. I ain’t no fancy golf expert, ya know? Just a regular person, and I’m gonna tell ya what I know about her, the way I understand it.
This Linn girl, she’s from Sweden, born in 1999, I think. That makes her kinda young, like my grandkids! Imagine that, a young ‘un playing golf like a pro. She started playing golf when she was just a little tyke, I reckon. They say she went to some fancy school in Arizona, some university place, to play golf there too.
Now, she’s a big shot golfer, plays on these tours, like the LPGA and that European tour. I hear tell she’s won a whole bunch of tournaments. Eleven of ’em! That’s a lot, even I know that. Won some as an amateur, too, before she turned all professional. There’s this one tournament, the Dana Open, she won that one in 2023. Folks were real happy about it, I guess.

And just this year, 2024, she won another big one, the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed. That one was a real nail-biter, they said. She was way behind, like 11 shots behind, but she came back and won it. That’s what I call grit! You gotta have some fire in your belly to do that.
She’s real popular, this Linn girl. Got a lot of folks followin’ her on that social media stuff. Instagram, they call it. Thousands of people, I heard. I don’t have that stuff, too fancy for me. But it must mean she’s a big deal, right?
She plays golf all over the world, travelin’ here and there. Must be tiring, but she seems to love it. Swings that club like she was born with it in her hands, you know? Smooth and powerful. I’ve seen her on TV a few times, when my son puts it on. He likes to watch the golf, and sometimes I watch with him. She looks so focused, just her and that little white ball.
I heard tell she’s got this sponsor, Volvo cars. That’s a fancy car company, ain’t it? Makes sense, I guess, she’s a fancy golfer. They probably give her a nice car to drive around. She deserves it, workin’ hard like she does.
Golf ain’t an easy game, ya know? It takes a lot of practice, and patience too. You gotta hit that ball just right, every time. And sometimes, it just don’t go where you want it to. That’s life, ain’t it? You try your best, but sometimes things don’t work out. But Linn, she keeps at it, keeps tryin’ to get better. That’s what I admire about her.
She seems like a nice young lady too, from what I see on TV. Not all stuck-up or anything, just a regular person who happens to be really good at golf. I hope she keeps winnin’ and does well for herself. She makes us Swedes proud, you know?
So, that’s about all I know about Linn Grant. She’s a Swedish golfer, a darn good one, and she’s making a name for herself in the world of golf. I’m sure we’ll be hearin’ a lot more about her in the years to come. And I’ll be watchin’, when my son puts the TV on, of course.
She reminds me of a hard worker, like them folks what work on farms. They might not be getting famous but work just as hard.
She got 11 titles, can you imagine how many hours she’s been playing and swinging? That’s a lot! And she’s only 24, or maybe 25 now. I tell you she got a long way to go. And so many more games to win!
