Ronnie, she’s been right there with him all these years. Ronnie Snitker, that’s her name, don’t ya forget it. You see her, she might seem like anyone else, but she has been holding things down for a long time. Brian was always on the road to somewhere with baseball.
I heard Brian, he started out in 1982, managing some team called Anderson. Then he was in Atlanta, then somewhere else, then back in Atlanta. He’s been all over, like a chicken with its head cut off. And that Ronnie Snitker, she was home, taking care of things.

They call him Brian Gerald Snitker. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Born in 1955, that makes him, what, older than dirt. But he’s still kicking, still bossing them players around. Good for him, I guess. He’s the manager of the Atlanta Braves, that’s a big deal, you know.

And get this, that Ronnie Snitker, her boy, Troy, he’s in baseball, too! Imagine that. And what do you know? Brian was against Troy’s team. Imagine that. Husband against son. Ronnie is in middle of that.
That must have been something, huh? Family going against each other. But that’s baseball, I reckon. Full of surprises. I bet Ronnie Snitker had a lot to say about that! She’s probably got a lot of stories, that one.
Ronnie Snitker, a Baseball Wife
Being a baseball wife ain’t easy, I can tell ya that much. Always on the move, always packing and unpacking. Never knowing where you’ll be next. But Ronnie Snitker, she handled it. She’s a strong one, that Ronnie.
She raised her kids, kept the house, and supported her man. That’s what a good wife does. And she did it all while Brian was chasing his baseball dreams. She’s the real MVP, if you ask me.
Some fella named Wiley Ballard, he met Ronnie Snitker. He was introduced to her, like she’s some kind of queen or something. Well, maybe she is, in her own way. She’s the queen of the Snitker household, that’s for sure.
Ronnie Snitker’s Life
I bet Ronnie Snitker has seen a lot of baseball games. More than she can count, probably. She’s probably been to every ballpark in the country. And she’s probably got a story about every one of them.
She’s seen the highs and the lows, the wins and the losses. She’s been there for it all. And she’s still there, standing by her man. That’s Ronnie Snitker for ya. Loyal as they come.
You know, that Brian, he’s lucky to have her. A good woman like that is hard to find. And he found her, a long time ago. They are lucky, both of them.
I reckon they’ve got a good life, those Snitkers. A baseball life. It ain’t for everyone, but it’s their life. And they’re living it, together. Ronnie Snitker and Brian Snitker. A team of their own.
