Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Shin Megami Tensei V lately, and man, that Miracle system is something else. I wanted to really optimize my party, so I started digging into how Miracles work and which ones are the best. Here’s what I did.
First, I started a new game plus, just to have a clean slate and some extra goodies. I figured that would make the experimenting easier. Then I focused on getting to those first few Glory vendors. You know, the ones that pop up early in the game.
Early Game Grinding
My initial goal was simple: farm enough Glory to unlock some basic Miracles. I spent a good few hours just running around, smashing those blue crystal things, and beating up every demon I could find. It’s kinda tedious, but hey, gotta get that Glory!
- Used those early demons. They’re weak but give decent Glory.
- Explored every nook and cranny. Found some hidden Glory caches.
- Prioritized quests that reward Glory. Gotta be efficient, right?
Once I had a decent stash, I started unlocking Miracles. I focused on the ones that boost your stats or give you extra Magatsuhi at the start of battle. Those seemed like the most useful early on.
Mid-Game Experiments
As I progressed, I started experimenting with different Miracle combinations. Some worked really well, others… not so much. I definitely wasted some Glory on Miracles that turned out to be pretty useless for my playstyle.
I learned that some Miracles are way better when combined with specific demons or skills. For example, there’s a Miracle that boosts the power of Almighty skills. Paired that with a demon that has a strong Almighty attack, and boom – massive damage!
I made it all the way to the final boss and there is where I realized, I did a good job, not only beating it but doing it fast and efficiently!
So yeah, that’s my Miracle research journey so far. Still figuring things out, but it’s been a blast. Hope this helps anyone else trying to master the Miracle system!
