You know, that Tami Agassi, yeah, Andre’s sister. Heard she’s got some troubles. Big troubles. Money troubles. Something about her ex-husband, that fella, what’s his name? Lobsang Dargey. Yeah, him. Seems like he was up to no good, some kinda schemes or something. And Tami, poor thing, got caught up in it. Now she’s facing bankruptcy. Just awful, ain’t it?
Always liked Andre, that tennis fella. Used to watch him on the TV, whacking that ball back and forth. Good player, he was. His family though, seems they had their share of troubles. His mama and sister, both had that…what do you call it…breast cancer. Same time, too. But they pulled through, strong women they are. Andre wrote about it in his book, said how proud he was of them.
Then there’s this Tami. She married this Dargey fella back in, what was it, 2004? Things seemed fine then, living all fancy. He was building them hotels, big ones, fancy ones. But turns out, he wasn’t on the up and up. Something about fraud, lying to people. And now, Tami’s in a heap of trouble. They’re suing her, you see. Millions of dollars they want. Can you imagine? Millions!
- He lied, they said. Took money he shouldn’t have.
- She trusted him, Tami did. Didn’t know what he was up to.
- Now she’s gotta pay, even though it wasn’t her fault.
That Andre, he knew something was fishy about that Dargey guy from the start. Smart fella, Andre. He saw through him. Tried to warn his sister, I reckon. But sometimes, you just can’t tell people nothing. They gotta learn the hard way.
Remember when Andre used to wear that…that thing on his head? A wig, or something like it? He didn’t have much hair, you see. Felt bad about it, I guess. But then he shaved it all off. Said he didn’t want to hide no more. Good for him, I say. Be yourself, that’s what I always tell my grandkids. Don’t try to be something you ain’t.
Andre and his wife, that Steffi Graf, they had two kids. Jaden and Jaz. Cute names. They seem like good parents. Raising their kids right. Not like that Dargey fella. He messed things up for Tami, big time.
Poor Tami. Divorced him in 2020, finally. Took her long enough. But the damage was done. All that money trouble. And now she’s gotta deal with it. Life ain’t fair, is it?
Andre’s dad, he was a boxer. From Iran, I think. Came to America, worked in a casino. Tough man, I bet. Raised his kids to be strong. But even strong people have their struggles. Like Tami. She’s going through a tough time now. Hope she gets through it alright.
It’s a shame, really. All that money, all that fancy living. Gone. Just like that. And now she’s gotta start over. At her age, too. Life can be cruel, you know? One minute you’re on top of the world, the next you’re down in the dumps. Just gotta keep going, I guess. Keep fighting. That’s all you can do.
