So, what’s all this about relics, huh? Well, you’ve probably picked up some Sonance Caskets along the way, maybe from runnin’ around, fighting beasts, or whatever it is you do out there. Now, I know you’re probably wonderin’, “What in the world am I supposed to do with all these?” That’s where Chenpi comes in. He’s the one you go to when you’ve got them Sonance Caskets, and he’ll trade ya for somethin’ good in return.
What’s he give ya, you ask? Well, he’s got all sorts of fancy stuff. You can get yourself some Astrite or Lustrous Tides, and if you’ve been doin’ your work right, you might even find some upgrade materials for your Rover. Ain’t that somethin’? You put in the work, and you’ll get some good things back for it.
Now, don’t go rushin’ off just yet. To find ol’ Chenpi, you gotta follow the markers on your map. There’s a little symbol near Jinzhou that’ll point ya right to where he’s standin’. Don’t get too confused lookin’ around; just follow the path and you’ll find him right there in Huanglong, where he’s settin’ up shop. He’s a relic merchant, so he’s always got somethin’ to trade if you’ve got the goods to offer.
If you’ve got all them Sonance Caskets tucked away in your bag and you’re wonderin’ what to do with ‘em, well, now’s the time. Take ’em to Chenpi, give ‘em to him, and he’ll hand ya back something useful. Might be a little somethin’ to help your character out or maybe somethin’ to trade down the line.
Steps to find the relic merchant and trade your Caskets:
- Head to Jinzhou City, west of the starting point.
- Look for the quest marker near Huanglong.
- Talk to Chenpi, the Relic Merchant.
- Hand over any Sonance Caskets you’ve collected.
- Get back upgrade materials, Astrite, or Lustrous Tides.
It’s real simple, really. If you’ve been walkin’ around with a bunch of caskets and you don’t know what to do with ‘em, just take ‘em to Chenpi and he’ll make it worth your while. But don’t go wanderin’ off without knowin’ where he is, ‘cause if you get lost, well, that’s just more time wasted. Keep yer eyes sharp, follow the markers, and you’ll be all set in no time.
