Okay, so I’ve been messing around with these golf wristbands lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I wanted to find a good way to keep track of my stuff during golf outings, and I heard these wristbands could be a decent option.

First Attempt
My first thought was to just grab some of those cheap vinyl cash tag wristbands. You know, the kind you see at fairs or small events? I figured they’d be good enough. I mean, how hard could it be, right? I ordered a bunch online, and they arrived pretty quickly. I was excited, thinking I had found a simple solution.
But, when I actually tried them out on the course, they were kind of a pain. They didn’t really stay put, and honestly, they felt kind of cheap. Not exactly the vibe I was going for. Plus, they weren’t really doing much to help me keep track of anything.
Trying Something New
So, back to the drawing board. I started looking into those silicone wristbands. The ones that are a bit more durable and, you know, look a bit nicer. I found a place that makes personalized ones in the USA, and their turnaround time seemed pretty quick. I thought, “Why not? Let’s give it another shot.” I customized a few with my initials and some other stuff, just to see how they’d turn out. It didn’t need much time.
Better, but Still…
These silicone ones were definitely an improvement. They fit better, felt more comfortable, and definitely looked a lot better than the vinyl ones. But, I still felt like they weren’t quite what I was looking for. They were good for, like, showing team spirit or something, but not really for practical use on the course.
- Pros:
- More durable and comfortable than vinyl
- Can be personalized
- Look nicer
- Cons:
- Not very practical for tracking things
- More for show than function
Another Option
Then I stumbled upon these “FitTurn” two-color breathable hole quick-release bands. These are more like watch straps, and they’re compatible with some golf watches like the Garmin Approach S40. I don’t have one of those watches, but the idea of a breathable, quick-release band seemed pretty cool. But I didn’t buy one.

Still Searching
I’ve seen some other wristbands on sale online, like full-color plastic ones, but I haven’t tried them yet. And I’ve seen some listings for “Golf Wristbands” from big brands, but they were kind of expensive, and I’m not sure if they’re really worth it.
So, yeah, that’s where I’m at with these golf wristbands. It’s been a bit of a trial-and-error process. I’m still on the lookout for something that’s both functional and looks decent. Maybe I’ll find the perfect one eventually, or maybe I’ll just stick with my pockets. Who knows? I’ll keep you guys updated if I find anything interesting.
